About Us

North Ms Home Designs is a licensed residential building company owned and operated by Greg and Alicia McKissick of Saltillo, MS.  Our business was established in 2005, specializing in quality custom homes.  Besides offering custom homebuilding, we also offer a variety of other services including residential building,  light commercial projects (under 7500 sq ft), home remodeling and additions, handicapped accessible bathrooms, home modifications for accessibility, outdoor kitchens and entertainment areas, home restoration and natural disaster repairs.

Since age 12 I have worked in the construction field under various local residential builders. As a youth, I learned the construction trade and the various aspects of the building process by working summers under some of the finest home builders around. After graduating from Saltillo High School in 1992 I attended Itawamba Community College, and then the University of Southern Mississippi. After earning a degree in Health and Human Sciences from the University of Southern MS in 1998, I worked in the healthcare industry for 8 years. However, my passion was in construction, and in 2005 I began to return to my roots in the construction field. Since that time Alicia and I have built North MS Home Designs into a multifaceted construction business offering a variety of services to customers throughout north MS. I have constructed numerous new homes in Saltillo, Guntown, Lee County, and the surrounding areas from speculation housing to fine custom homes.

Since our beginning, we have completed projects all over North Ms ranging from custom home creations, to outdoor patios and decks.  Our contractors and subcontractors are local, emphasize good craftsmanship, and most are small business owners themselves.

In 2007, our granite countertop business was created, offering 2 and 3 cm granite to area customers.  Our granite division has grown to a full service granite fabrication and installation company now known as RidgeRock Granite Co.  Ridgerock offers granite, quartz, and marble surfaces of all shapes and sizes.  Our stone is handcrafted, hand polished, and installed by our granite professionals.
